Senior Team

Lisa Baker - Founder

With more than twenty-five years’ senior-level experience across arts, entertainment, and cultural communications, working with artists, photographers, galleries, charities, institutions, fairs, and publishers in the UK and internationally, Lisa brings a journalism-led approach to shaping and placing cultural narratives.

She began her career in 1998 at the Press Association, where she developed a practical understanding of how stories circulate — and where they often lose traction. This grounding in journalism was followed by a move into PR with senior arts and entertainment roles for clients including BAFTA, the National Television Awards, EMAP, Channel 4, and Channel 5.

In 2000, Lisa co-founded PR company PagetBaker PR. The agency’s first art client was Charles Saatchi and the Saatchi Gallery in 2003, and over the following decade clients included the Eden Project, the Max Mara Art Prize, and ABSOLUT Vodka. Alongside this, from 2001 to 2007, Lisa served as Media Director of the Edinburgh International Television Festival.

Establishing Lisa Baker Associates in 2011, the agency continues to work with leading galleries, publishers, photographers, artists, and cultural platforms. In 2023 it expanded its non-profit arm into fundraising, philanthropy, and news management for charities who wish to align with culture.

Lisa is an Art Advisor to War Child UK and sits on the Steering Committee of Koestler Arts. In 2025, she co-founded Hackney Art Week and established Print Matters, a platform offering signed, limited-edition music photographic prints and fine art posters, with 20% of net sales donated to a chosen charity.

Ned Mansfield - Associate Director

Ned Mansfield is a senior communications consultant who has been with Lisa Baker since May 2024. He has led campaigns across visual art, film, television, music, literature, and the charity and NGO sectors, working with internationally recognised figures and mission-led organisations.

Ned specialises in media relations, regularly landing our clients coverage in major outlets from Rolling Stone and The Hollywood Reporter to BBC Radio 4 and The Guardian.

Before joining Lisa Baker, Ned worked on communications at London Higher, the higher education charity that represents over 50 London universities and the largest regional representative body of its kind. In 2023, as a freelance publicist, he broke the story of the secret, uncredited female producer behind The Wicker Man, led the PR campaign for The Strokes producer Gordon Raphael's memoir, and led the 10th anniversary campaign for Full Bleed, the photobook hailed a "skate photography bible" from Supreme's first New York City store manager Alex Corporan.

Ned first broke into PR through his involvement in UK music festivals. He is especially proud of campaigns that drive tangible social impact, but also brings commercial instincts and deep relationships across international media and culture.

Beyond PR, from 2023-25 Ned led over 100 communications workshops for hard-to-reach primary and secondary school students across London.
